Push for That's a Lot of Bait Achievement

Let's try to get the achievement as soon as possible so we can have +90 feasts.

Until we get the achievement, you'll get 1 DKP per 20 fishes you fish from pools that you donate to the guild.  (To get this high rate of DKP per fish, you have to fish from pools on a toon in the guild.) To be able to collect your DKP for this, please mail Mayleene as soon as possible after fishing with:

• "Pool fishing" in the subject.
• The starting and ending number for "That's a Lot of Bait" achievement during the time you pool fish in the body of the letter. So before you start fishing, be sure to find the achievement and make note of the number. This achievement is under Professions in the guild achievement section. (So Y to open up Achievements > Guild > Professions > scroll to the bottom.)
• And the fishes you fished up.

If you're caught cheating about the fact that you pool fished, you will loose DKP, so please be honest and don't try to get the more amount of DKP if you did not pool fish.

To track fish pools, you have to get Weather Beaten Journal either from the quest reward for the Stormwind/Shattrath fishing dailies or by fishing up trunks and crates. Once learned you'll be able to track pools like tracking herb and ore nodes. Check out Fish Don't Leave Footprints achievement for more information.

Exception:
-10 Highland Guppy from pools: +1 DKP
-10 Fanthom Eel from pools: +1 DKP
-10 Lavascale Catfish (no pools): +1 DKP
-50 other non-pool cata fishes (for those who don't want to (pool) fish but still want to donate fishes): +1 DKP

I'm trying to start stocking up for the fish feast and to still award people who don't want to pool fish. :).

Random perks (that I know of) that you get through pool fishing:
-100% catch rate (so even level 1 fishing works)
-Level fishing without junk if you're not already maxed
-Sea Turtle mount!
-The Old Gnome and the Sea achievement, which is part of Accomplished Angler -Tome of Polymorph: Turtle for mages to learn

Summary: Fish in pool, count towards guild achievement, mail to Mayleene, get DKP.
